Join the Fishbike guide on this 2 hour guided tour. If you are pressed for time, but you are keen for an active explore of Napier City and surrounds, come along and see what the locals take for granted.

Join us exploring the Art Deco City of Napier, and its quirky suburbs. We'll take you through downtown Napier where you'll visit Napier's iconic Soundshell. Then we'll continue on to ride the Hawke's Bay Trail to Ahuriri and Westhore, and also explore the Ahuriri Estuary and inner Harbour. The Fishbike Local tour includes a coffee at either a local cafe or back at the Fishbike base, and we may even throw in a little local history on the way!

The route may vary depending on events, prevailing wind, and the best aroma of coffee on the day!

There and Back:

This package is perfect for those who tend to get a little carried away now and then…imagine you’ve set out on your bike only to find that after 30 odd kilometres of cycling in one direction, your legs suggest that turning around to head back is simply not an option. Don’t despair – we’ve got the solution, simply choose one of our There and Back packages.

With a There and Back package, you can hire a Fishbike and just let us know your final destination. Whether it be a winery lunch at Clearview, or a spot of shopping in Havelock North, you just get peddling, and we’ll pick you up when you’re done.

We’ve partnered up with local company ‘Pink Total Transport’ who can pick you up from any destination on the Pathway. Bookings are essential for the There and Back package, and limited to groups of four due to space constraints when it comes to fitting in all cyclists and their bikes.

Hastings Farmers Market Sunday Ride 

At Fishbike we are firm believers in combining the freedom of cycling with the allure of food! So every Sunday we offer the perfect There and Back foodie package…

The Hawke’s Bay Farmers Market is held at the Hastings Showgrounds every Sunday from 8:30am to 12:30pm. The market showcases some of the best local produce that Hawke’s Bay has to offer. At the many stalls, you’ll find passionate foodies with farm fresh and home grown products that are sure to please even the most discerning palate!

The ride from Fishbike to the Hawke’s Bay Farmers Market is 20km over flat terrain. Head out in the morning sunshine and explore the Farmers Market at your leisure. Relax, and eat and drink as you please, and at 12.30pm we’ll pick you up and take you and all your foodie purchases back to our Fishbike.

We suggest you allow 90 minutes cycling time to get to the farmers market. The route is 19km on the Hawke's Bay Trail and 1km on a main road ( with a wide shoulder for safe cycling)
